Sans titre (2009)

Sculptural installation
Stainless steel, wood, acrylic.

Display
2009 | Galerie l'Oeuvre de l'autre, Chicoutimi, Qc, Canada

Short description
I examined the aesthetics of an architecture-oriented 3D modelling and mapping software. The apparatus takes the form of a city model onto which free interventions are welcomed. Visitors can put inscriptions on small slabs and add them where they please, among stainless steel sculptures.

Video installation
Camera prompteurs, screens, sensors, interactivity software.

Display
2009 | SCAN, Chicoutimi, Qc, Canada

Short description
This project is about experimenting with interactivity. Its content is by Annick Martel (Phare Sud). The installation first presents the video projection framed by objects hanging down from the ceiling. With the help of sensors, the projection ends up on the floor. While the visitor moves around the objects, the fluttering between two states happens. This project has been presented to students enrolled in James Partaik’s classes.

Carnets de l'îlot (2013)

Micro-edition
and open data for citizens

Paper, Quebec city's data set, GIS software.

Display
2014 | Marché de l'îlot, Québec, Qc, Canada

Short description
The appropriation of open data by citizens does not happen by itself. I offered ten notebooks to workers and residents of the îlot des Tanneurs area in the St-Roch district, in Quebec City. They had the opportunity to express themselves in writing, and we took part in a consultative process for urban planning. I also suggested setting up a mapping workshop.

Thanks
Quebec Numérique hackathon's participant (taught me Quantum GIS on august 29th, 2013) and Olivier Bhérer-Vidal.
